I just heard about this place over the weekend and had to check it out. I absolutely love Mediterranean food but my husband doesn't, so it took some convincing to get him to go with me. I liked the atmosphere when we walked in and it was really nice to be greeted by the people working (maybe one was the owner/manager?). I ordered the chicken shawarma plate and my husband ordered the lamb chops. We both loved our food! Portions are huge so we left with two full boxes and an order of baklava to go - it was delicious too!
I can't wait to go back and try more things! It truly is a hidden gem in River Oaks. -

Lunch buffet during the week. Steady business flow but not packed. Clean, comfortable restaurant with a very friendly staff. The buffet is large enough to provide a variety of excellent dishes. We will return for a dinner meal so I can try the lamb shanks. Reasonably priced.
Note: Just off of River Oaks in what appears to be a former Braum's location. -

Quit driving by and saying you will go some day and go today!
I have been here multiple times and it never disappoints. The buffet has many tasty options that taste freshly made. The staff is very attentive and friendly. We have also ordered takeout and were really pleased with the quality. It is so great to have a Mediterranean option that is affordable and we don't have to drive forever to get there! -

A nice surprise and great discovery for a new lunch spot!
From the reviews, it looks like the restaurant has just been opened recently. The inside is spacious, but not much to look at. I wouldn't be surprised if it used to be a Chinese buffet before.
For lunch from Monday-Friday, they offer buffet for $15/person including a drink of your choice. When you come in, go straight to the register to pay for your meal before picking your seat. The owner, who was also my cashier that day, was really friendly and welcoming. If you don't want the buffet, you also have the option of ordering off the menu. But seriously, the buffet is a huge bargain. You get pretty much everything on the menu for just a fraction of the price.
With so many choices to choose from, I opted for my usuals, tabouleh salad, mediterranean rice, and a variety of shish kabob. My most favorite has to be the chicken shish kabob. The meat is seasoned perfectly and full of flavor. They also offer 2 types of soup during the lunch buffet. I tried both the tomato basil soup and lentil soup. Couldn't complain about either one. But the lentil soup was tastier and healthier.
Overall, it is a great spot for lunch if I'm in the area again. Being a family run business, they do care a lot about the customers. You will not be disappointed. -

I was floored when I realized this spot that fellow Yelpers were raving about was actually in River Oaks. A fab Mediterranean restaurant in River Oaks?!! Say what?!!!!
After picking myself up from the floor, my hubbs and I went for lunch, so we opted for the $15 lunch buffet which includes a fountain drink. There are so many delicious options on the buffet. I tried almost everything --- each dish I tried was loaded with flavor. There's a good balance of meat and veggie options, so all eaters can easily find various dishes to try. You'll also find various fresh, in-house prepared sauces and pita and zaatar bread {I don't think the breads are made in-house}. Don't forget the dessert on the buffet. The day we went, there was fresh fruit, perfect rice pudding (I'm rice pudding "snob"), and a crispy, not too sweet fritter coated in syrup that did not disrupt the crispiness. ......full disclosure - I actually ate 1/2 a soup bowl of rice pudding along with three fritters :-D
Service was excellent. The friendly staff is warm and welcoming. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and has a nice homey vibe. As soon as you walk in, the atmosphere leads you to expect home-made Mediterranean food, and that is exactly what you get.
The parking lot is spacious. This new restaurant is starting to become pretty popular. By the time we finished eating, the restaurant was getting very busy. We'll be back to check out the dinner menu, and I already know we'll return for lunch.
It's nice to not have to drive into Fort Worth to enjoy a good meal at a nice restaurant.
